We have now crossed into the Quarter of Mutation, where we are meant to focus on transformation. The area of the zodiac of this New Moon is at its peak of the solar year and it's here where we experience great creative power.
The second Decan of Scorpio is ruled by the Sun, symbolized by the Six of Cups. The Six of Cups is brimming with flowers, showing the fruit of our labors. The five-pointed-star flower indicates the ascension of the soul out of human bondage.

Dressed in a fool’s cap, the childlike figure echoes the Fool card, which is ruled by Uranus. Exalted in Scorpio, this placement suggests that offering our pure creative energy without expectation is the ultimate act of love.
The cross, commonly called Saint Andrew’s cross, is the cross of humility. The significance is that while we “become as little children” or believe as little children on the earthly plane, we manifest our progress. When we create with all of our heart, as little children do, we have the power to manifest whatever our heart desires.
The 6 of Cups signifies nostalgia; the light is flattering when we look back from our own sunset hours—as if our hearts place a golden filter of affection over the past. In turn, everything we created in life—affection, resentment, love, longing, hatred—carves the hearts of those we knew, coloring their pasts, altering their futures. - T. Susan Chang
The Human Design Chart
Located in Washington D.C., the New Moon happens on the fixed fate Cross of Self Expression. People are looking for someone who has both the creative expression and direction to lead us into the future, but this line only offers creative expression and opportunism. It lacks direction.
We are transitioning out of Gate 4 in the Leo section of the Ajna Center (Quarter of Duality), where we've been forced to face a relationship issue that logic simply cannot solve. We are now heading toward Gate 49 - Principles and Revolution - in the Aquarius section of the Solar Plexus (Quarter of Initiation), where the Nodes will flip before the next Full Moon.

The only channel that is connected for the entire collective during this New Moon is the emotional Channel of Recognition, the channel of the fates, where we fantasize about the future that we want. This channel has been activated since the North Node entered Aquarius in late July and will be activated until the upcoming Nodal shift.
The Astrology Chart
Located in Washington D.C, the New Moon at 17° of Scorpio happens in the wee hours of the morning on November 9th. The Lunation applying to a square to Mars in mutual reception in Leo, makes this a very powerful New Moon. The Third Decan of Leo is ruled by Mars, granting one a fierce determination to hold onto something they are at risk of losing. The fiery power of this Decan can promote extreme behavior and so while this area of the zodiac can give one innate leadership and manifestation power, there is also a reminder that before we can effectively lead others, we must first master ourselves. We must ascend from the material bondage that keeps us tethered to our lower nature.

So think about the creative power we all have access to. Have you mastered your lower nature enough to rise to the occasion of this New Moon? Is what you are trying to hold onto based upon fear or other superficial desires? Or is it something more substantial and worth fighting for? If it’s the latter, this New Moon offers a tremendous opportunity.
Venus has recently separated from its sextile with Jupiter. This sextile perfecting the day after the midterms granted many of us a day of sweetness. Did you feel it? Venus will next perfect a sextile to Mars the night of this New Moon. Sextiles offer an opportunity, but one that only comes when we apply consciousness. While there is an opportunity for diplomacy, will we rise above our ego to take advantage of it? Is the relationship worth fighting for?
Ready or not, Mercury and Venus will both station direct on November 13th. Any relationship or communication issues that have arisen during this time, should find resolution one way or the other. If the relationship survived the review, it will be stronger for it.
