The chaos in the world has escalated quite a bit since the eclipses, with Pluto still out-of-bounds and Saturn re-entering the gate of crisis on September 25th where it will remain until late January. Most people are now fully recognizing we are in a major crisis in the United States.
And this full moon in Aries, called the Warrior’s Moon by Raven Kaldera, is likely to further fuel the flame of this growing chaos.
On the Warrior’s Moon, we fight for what we believe in. This is a lone battle, and it is especially effective if we are fighting with no approval from others, and perhaps even in spite of their disapproval. Such battles need to be fought as if there is no audience, just the Warrior and the enemy . . . and the innocents who must not be trampled, something that the Warrior often forgets. The Warrior’s Moon is also a time of grappling with the aforementioned demons and learning patience.
At this particular degree, there can be an over-reliance on the need for protection that can be obsessed with the details of planning at the expense of action. There can be an insecurity with one’s abilities to ultimately persevere in this fight.
Full Moon connected to the April, 2024 Eclipse
This full moon is related to the April, 2024 New Moon Eclipse in Aries. It is also the first of a series of full moons that are between 12-14 degrees. If you have any planets that are close to these degrees, this full moon is likely to affect you more personally. You may see something you started during the April, 2024 New Moon Eclipse culminating during this Full Moon.
What Fears Are Holding You Back?
What fears might be holding you back from fighting for what you believe in? What are you currently obsessing over that needs to be released?
I know for me, I have my natal Juno and Eris at 12 degrees Aries, which is sextile my Mercury at 14 degrees Aquarius. Mercury happens to be the ruler of my South Node in Gemini. When I found out I had Juno conjunct Eris, I was a bit shocked. Do you mean I’m attracted to discord? I couldn’t deny that discord had been a part of my daily life for as long as I could remember, but it seemed to me that I was always seeking to escape it.
I am of the mind that you cannot escape your natural patterns, but you can transmute them so they work for you rather than against you. This has been part of my Chiron journey. My Chiron in Aries theme is about developing strength through adversity. Instead of escaping, I have learned that I need to open myself up to these experiences. It’s the only way I can learn how to better wield my own power. Now whenever I experience confrontations, I am learning to open rather than close. Rather than resisting, I now thank the universe for showing me something I need to see. I’m not going to say this is always easy, but this practice has been revolutionary for me.

5/2 Left Angle Cross of Endeavor
This full moon, placed in Washington DC, falls on the 5/2 Left Angle Cross of Endeavor. This cross is about pushing through any limits or boundaries to get to the other side. It’s about taking action to achieve one’s goals. The Cross is in the Quarter of Duality, so it involves karma with the other or the themes of polarity. Both Putin and Ursula Von der Leyen were born on different lines of this cross.
This particular full moon degree fixes the expression of this energy to the detriment, which is an obsession with the planning phase at the expense of action. The 14th degree is a Taurus degree so security is a higher priority than action.
The ascendent is ruled by the Full Moon which is intercepted in the 10th house. As I’ve reviewed in previous episodes, the Libra-Aries axis is directly related to the mideast conflicts and the Russia-Ukrainian war. Interceptions typically define energy that is stifled or stuck in some way.
And this Full Moon is stuck between the energies of Pisces on the Midheaven and Taurus on the cusp of the 11th house. Pisces’ traditional ruler is Jupiter, which sits in the 1st house of this chart. Jupiter at this degree is about the discovery of valuable information
Trump's Connections to Putin
Now I want to focus on Jupiter for a minute because it’s symbolically important to the relationship between the Trump and Putin. Jupiter at this moment is applying to Trump's natal Saturn and Trump and Putin are connected by Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune. Jupiter will perfect its conjunction to the President’s natal Saturn in the 11th house on October the 13th. This is the same day that Pluto stations direct. Remember, Pluto is currently out-of-bounds to the South and the President’s natal Pluto is out-of-bounds to the North. According to the research by Rosie Flynn, when Pluto goes out-of-bounds to the North, it’s a time period where we see the rise of Dictators. But when Pluto goes out-of-bounds to the South, there tends to be an internal combustion, a revolution, and eventual power-to-the people.
Around October 13th, as transiting Jupiter approaches Trump's natal Saturn, the Sun will highlight his natal Jupiter in Libra in his 2nd house, in Gate 57. Since his natal Jupiter is applying to a square to his natal Saturn, this means he will experience a double Jupiter-Saturn square which will be highlighted by the Sun. This describes an inconsistency or restless moodiness, which promotes growth. At the same time, he may experience a happy solitude with the dissolution of an engagement.
Putin’s Saturn-Neptune conjuncts Trump's natal Jupiter in gate 57. You can see the potential of amplified deception or egoism in this connection. And Uranus is currently in gate 20 completing a channel with gate 57. This connection is contributing to a disruption to the current status-quo of their relationship. Right after Uranus moved into Gate 20 in July, Trump met with Putin in Alaska.
On October 13th, Venus will also be at the Eclipse degree, or 29 degrees Virgo. Charlie Kirk had his own Venus conjunct this Eclipse. Symbolically, Venus is important in the President’s chart as it conjuncts his Saturn. He has karmic themes with women, family, relationships, and money. Putin’s Venus in gate 44 creates a channel with the President’s South Node and Moon in gate 26. Putin’s Venus is in a line describing a potential manipulation of inferior forces. This Venus-South Node conjunction is what people see when they point out that Putin has manipulated Trump.
Venus on the South Node and the Finger-of-God
So let’s come back to this full moon chart to talk about Venus. Taurus, on the cusp of the 11th house, is ruled by Venus in Virgo conjunct the South Node in the 3rd house of this chart. Venus at this degree is about maintaining harmonic relationships with one’s oppressor. The themes also point to the responsibility of someone in a leadership position, someone who comes from wealth. It’s now separating from the South Node, so there is something related to these themes that we are gaining new insights about before we move forward.
Venus’s ruler Mercury, is now at the degree where Mars was during the Libra Ingress. It is now applying to a closing square to Pluto and is the Apex of a YOD or a “Finger-of-God” between Uranus and Neptune.
Mercury in this line is about maintaining OR NOT the consistency of our values. In its negative expression it can be about rebelling against the values that have previously brought us success. With the closing square to Pluto, there is an integration of a psychological struggle around our limitations to wield monetary power over others. There has been a disconnect between words spoken and the reality of the limitations we are starting to see all around us.
The Finger-of-God points to an adjustment that needs to be made between the chaos that is being stirred up by the dogmatists and the reality of a crisis we are in because of the deception by people in power. The reality of this deception is more visible with Neptune and Saturn conjunct the Midheaven.
Mars, the Final Dispositor
Both the Moon and Mercury are ruled by Mars in Scorpio in the 5th house in gate 44, hanging off the Splenic system, pointing to gate 26 hanging off the ego. Mars connects with Putin’s Venus in gate 44 and the President’s South Node and Moon in gate 26. It describes the ability to recognize the threat of interference and to prepare for its effects.
Mars is the final dispositor of this chart, stronger in its malefic nature because it is in its own domicile. But in gate 44, it has more to do with preparation. It’s an alertness to defend itself against threats.
This full moon pattern indicates a turning point to the current conflicts both at home and abroad. There is a movement away from harmonic appeasement, but the warrior energy present in this full moon is still somewhat stifled by the need for security over action. I see a bigger shift happening between the New Moon in Libra later this month and the Full Moon in Scorpio in early November.
Full Moon & The Sibley Chart
When you look at this full moon around the Sibley chart, we see that the Sun is highlighting the country’s natal Saturn in Libra in the 10th house. With Juno conjunct Saturn and Venus, Saturn’s ruler in Cancer in the 7th, our nation has similar karma around the themes of money, women, family, and relationships.
Meanwhile, transiting Venus is applying to a conjunction with Neptune in the 9th, which highlights the themes of our spiritual beliefs, law and order, and our alliances with other countries. Transiting Jupiter is also highlighting a retrograde Mercury in the 8th house. In the Sibley chart, Pisces and Virgo are intercepted in the 3rd-9th house axis, pointing to the Jupiter and Mercury conjunction. It is highlighting our responsibilities to our neighbors, our contracts and debts to other nations, the rule of law, our beliefs, and the current divisive environment.
Saturn is exalted in Libra. It symbolizes fairness and justice to the rule of law. You can see our natural leadership position with this placement, which is why it’s been so disconcerting to see the opposite play out in our country. This Full Moon is a sneak peak of the Saturn opposition that will perfect in mid-2027. Saturn entering Aries activated this coming opposition and as it applies closer, we will see more confrontations to our leadership in these areas. The last time we experienced a Saturn opposition was in 1998, which some point to as the lead up to 9/11.
Facing our Fears
So while we purge our attempts at maintaining harmony with the oppressor and we prepare for the interference that has been clearly announced, it’s important that we face our fears and take right action.
And we all need to find the courage to maintain our individuality while fighting for what we believe in. I hope you have the courage to face your fears and release whatever might be holding you back during this full moon, so you can productively move forward together.
