Eclipse Season: The Fool

The Pisces New Moon kicked off this eclipse. It comes with a warning: be careful what you wish for. Without a clear understanding of our values, we can manifest a future we didn't really want.  Life is not a perfectly orchestrated event according to our mind’s grand plans. Manifestation is indeed a thing, but what you think you’ve asked for and what actually manifests can be a surprise if you aren’t deeply aligned with your values.

One thing is clear: We are all entering a new cycle. We cannot escape that part. It might not be what we’ve personally envisioned for our future, especially as it relates to the country we live in. And our country’s direction does impact us individually. But we must figure out how to adapt. As a matter of course, we will eventually find our footing. This can lead to empowerment if we stay true to ourselves and our values. But it’s time to prepare ourselves to weather this storm. Most importantly, pay attention to both your mental and physical health. Invest in whatever programs you need to get yourself into a routine that prioritizes your health and well-being. Simplify, simplify, simplify. 

 Aries & The Tough Guy 

The collective mood shifted from optimism to hopelessness as we experienced the negative effects during the last half of the Neptune in Pisces cycle: the pandemic, severe weather events, and lack of secure borders. This shift became starker as Pluto entered Aquarius and the nodes shifted into Aries in 2023. Then became decidedly more pronounced as the wheel completed its 18 year cycle earlier this year. We are leaving the womb still gasping for air, readying ourselves to fight for our survival. 

The collective seems to need a strong father figure, a tough-love male authority, someone to make people feel like there are boundaries again. People want to feel secure, some order in the chaos. It’s the perfect time for holy wars and dictators with Neptune and Saturn’s upcoming ingress into Aries. After a long period of dominant YIN energy, we are moving toward a cycle of dominant YANG energy. All the major outer planets are shifting from water and earth to fire and air.  We need to find our fighting spirit again. Those of us who are more receptive and empathic are going to feel this shift more distinctly. It may be a breath of fresh air for those of us who have a lot of water in our charts already. But too much YANG may not be comfortable for us. People will be focused on themselves and there will be an overall lack of empathy for others. Empaths will likely be more in demand during this time. It will be important for us to find ways to rejuvenate our spirit.

The Race to Be First

As the United States senses a very real threat of losing its dominance in the world, there is a marked fervor to change this trajectory. This is what I see as the Uranian frenzy to shake up the world order. Will bullying our allies while flirting with a new Russian alignment extend our dominance and push China back? If we aggressively claim our place at the head of the line, does it make us more respected as the world's leader? Or does it leave the rest of the world looking for other leaders to step up?

We want to be first in AI, space exploration, and digital currency. To accomplish this, it appears that there is a belief that we need to rid ourselves of this idea of equality. We need to end “the nanny state”, our “victim mentality”, decidedly Neptune in Pisces terms. The country's elite want to get rid us of the parasitic elements that they think are putting a drain on the country’s resources so they can take more resources for themselves. To claim their right to be first, decidedly Aries fever. It is the rest of us that are holding them back. The rest of us have become too entitled. It’s certainly not them. The rest of us need to “man up”, to figure out how to survive on our own. They want to make us hungry so we will fight for our survival in the ways that work for them. Now, we’re expected to bring our sleeping bags to work if we want access to any resources at all. No more entertainment or relaxing by the beach. It’s time for survival of the fittest. 

As the elite is thinking about all of the things they want to conquer, all the power they want to wield, all the riches they want to hold, it seems no one is thinking about the practicalities of living in a world that is on fire, the threat of a nuclear holocaust, or how the majority of us will be able to survive with a lack of shared resources. Expect less practicality as we shift further into fire and air.

Aries & Aquarius: A Match

The majority of the technologists who have risen to the top were born into wealth. As nerds growing up, they now have enough money and power to masquerade as the alpha-male. They’ve analyzed the terrain and have created a strategy to move further into power.

As the Conversation reported, “when Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg appeared on a Jan. 10, 2025, episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” he lamented that corporate culture had become too “feminine,” suppressing its “masculine energy” and abandoning supposedly valuable traits such as aggression. The workplace, he concluded, has been “neutered.”’

It’s an ironic statement coming from him, because Tech has always been and still is a male dominated industry. Tech leaders collectively delude themselves and others with this idea that Tech is a “meritocracy”. Women have filed lawsuit after lawsuit about reprehensible sexism at Tech companies. These cries for a return to male domination is simply a false flag. Tech just doesn't want to be legally liable for this type of behavior anymore. They want to let it fly proudly without the fear of appraisal. Of course, Mark Zuckerberg may just be courting favor with the current administration. He is fighting for his survival right now as he now has to pivot from courting Democratic policies to Republican policies. Because social networks have been weaponized this way, they are dying and will further decline as Neptune shifts out of Pisces.

Tech leadership seems intent on taking a combined Aries and Aquarius approach to the alpha-male, what seems to be a combination of anti-hero and mini-god. They seem naive about their desire for a technocrat dictatorship or "CEO" as they've called it. Are they sure they are prepared for the consequences of that reality? Will it be as they’ve imagined it in their fantasy world? This seemingly mobster kind of leadership that can get you killed if you don’t pay the toll? They must need to experience the harsh truth of their destructive desires, this flirtation with patrimonialism.

People like Peter Thiel propose we lean into the Christian Right prophecies of the “Anti-Christ” to confront the threat of “globalization”. Why? As a control mechanism to further support this fantasy is my only guess.  It can't come from a place of spiritual conviction. Because he denounces the very same values that are central to Jesus’ teachings. He calls these socialist or communist values. Like many corrupted and empty dogmatists, he wants the sword of religion while discarding the center. It’s an empty vessel that isn’t life sustaining. Ironically, he supports an “Anti-Christ” type he thinks we should all fear  (i.e. Trump). 

In my imaginings of their grand vision, I assume they are simply using Trump as an opportunity to gain more power. The reality is that Trump is old and even if he manages to change the term limits, he’s only got so much time to rule. I’m guessing Vance was a calculated decision on their part. 

Mirrors

We are moving into a new cycle, but we are playing a tired game. The game of who gets to dominate and control the other. It’s not about freedom at all, but about whose values or ideologies get to be forced on the other. Each side has this idealization of free speech, free society, free markets but nothing is free when you take a closer look. Each side has its toll. Who gets to control the narrative wields the most control, because they are conditioning the majority. The bottom line is that we are all just traveling around the wheel and switching from one polarity to the next. If you were born to resist the status quo, that’s what you will do. If you aren't, you will attempt to adapt. We are all designed to shine in some periods and struggle in other periods. We each have a distinct journey and we can either lean into that or we can kill ourselves trying to fit into someone else's narrative.

The Eclipses: A Gateway

As this is the last eclipse in Aries for the next 18 years, we finally arrive. We’ll first experience Neptune's ingress into Aries. Neptune in Aries highlights the themes of separation and the feeling that we can’t rely on anyone except ourselves. But in the process of separation, you may realize you can survive on your own. There is potential for self-empowerment. As we are facing the loss of our collective institutions, we’ll be forced to figure out new solutions for our survival. As our allies lose a stable partner in the United States, they’ll likewise be forced to look elsewhere. Like all change, it will be rough at first. But it may be exactly what we need. Sometimes we just have to take a leap of faith. That's where "the fool" comes in.

There is also this aspect of gaining immunity with Neptune in Aries, so this time will teach us a lot about who we can and cannot trust in our fight for survival. In the United States, we’ve been dealing with corruption for a very long time, but the blame has largely been driven by which party is controlling the media. The veneer that we are living in a democracy has hit rock bottom and now we are being conditioned that this isn't even an ideal anymore. Trump has brought to the surface our collective shadow and his impact will be felt for years to come.

Part of Trump's appeal is his out-of-bounds Mercury. He has a unique ability to spin a tale that makes people think he's a WYSIWYG ("what you see is what you get") kind of guy. People seem to think that this means he's transparent. He’s tribal so there is a feeling that if you support him, he will have your back. There is some truth in both of these assumptions, but what people don’t seem to understand is his powers of seduction. If you watched my Trump & Elon video, you see that his trajectory is about controlling the masses through the media. He’s a master at the con and he's mastered the biggest con of all and that's propaganda. 

Trump is straddling the transition between Neptune in Pisces and Neptune in Aries. He has helped us with the immunity lessons of Neptune in Pisces, which has been largely about whether we can trust the media, our social networks, our medical institutions. You see how he has sewn mistrust. So now he's pushing our immunity further by forcing us to face hard truths about our very survival. I personally question how long he will be conditioning us in the Neptune in Aries period, but he's certainly striking the match.

Rest assured, Neptune and Saturn in Aries will include real heroes and spiritual warriors. It speaks to the David and Goliath story, where the small but righteous can beat the powerful bullies among us. Therefore I was struck by this recent quote from Marc Elias in response to Musk’s retort about rights:

“As you know, my English name is Marc, but my Hebrew name is Elhanan (אֶלְחָנָן) — after the great warrior in David’s army who slew a powerful giant.”

But of course, we also see the shadow side of the spiritual warrior. Extremism tends to be more powerful in times of change, hence movements like Project25. But even if we see old movements like these rise, they will not live long in the world. It’s part of an old cycle and unless it’s reborn it will dissolve. 

The more concerning part of this conjunction is Saturn in Aries as it suggests a push toward the dictatorship we all fear. It also suggests the use of excessive force to get there. We will have to be prepared to fight for the rights we hold so dear. We need to prepare ourselves to face adversity. Nothing is going to be earned without effort. Positively, we have the opportunity to build our strength of spirit during this time period. 

Like I mentioned at the beginning of this article, focus on getting your mind, body, and spirit into the best shape of your life. Learn how to lean into your strengths and let go of anything that is weighing you down. Do not fear the future as it will be here soon enough and we’ll all learn how to adapt to it. Figure out what you value the most and let that guide you every single moment. The rest will fall into place.
