We are starting to see the themes I predicted in my 2026 preview video intensifying. The first thing you’ll notice about the Eclipse chart located in Washington D.C. is that it’s directly on the Ascendent. It’s also within 1° of the Sibley Moon in the 3rd house. In this chart, the 3rd house is connected by Uranus, Aquarius’ modern ruler, square to the eclipse, while Uranus is in the 6th house of the Sibley chart.
This Eclipse is powerfully impacting the country as a whole, with a focus on the people, related to a disruption of third house themes: the media, all forms of communication, including free speech and the freedom of assembly, voting rights, the internet, including information technologies like AI. Like I mentioned in my 2026 preview, the Eclipse falls on the 5/1 Cross of Industry, connecting the 6th house themes in the Sibley Chart which is about workers and trade unions.
And Pluto has been transiting Sibley's 2nd house since 2016, the last time Trump took office. The 2nd house is about our values as a country, the monetary system, and the stock exchange. We experience a Pluto return in 2022 and now Pluto is approaching the South Node. Pluto has been digging up old skeletons from our past, dredging up the darkest periods of our history: periods marked by imperialism, racism, and sexism to name a few. The comparisons of this time to the excesses of the Gilded Age have reached every corner of the internet.
Job Apocalypse
We are now beginning to see fractures in the AI narrative and its devastating impact on the job market and the wider economy are starting to pick up. The job market hasn’t been this bad since 2009, the year after the 2008 market crash. We haven’t even experienced the market crash yet. This is largely because the AI bubble (fantasy) has acted as a veil (Neptune in Pisces) to the pretty dire reality on the ground (Saturn in Pisces). But the bubble or the mirage is starting to show signs of bursting (Neptune in Aries) and will become more apparent as Saturn enters Aries on February 13th.
On February 13th, the Moon (or the people) will be in Capricorn on the cusp of the Sibley’s 2nd house. Capricorn is the sign of the Moon’s fall, symbolizing austerity and it’s applying to an opposition of Jupiter, the elite, in the sign of its exaltation. To me this couldn't be a clearer signal of the country's people at the mercy of the elite who have been hoarding the country's resources. Saturn and Neptune are conjunct the 4th house cusp, also symbolic of the harsh reality of the country’s people and democracy as a whole.
Anthropic
What’s been termed as the "SaaS-pocalypse" was triggered by a series of moves from Anthropic in early 2026, culminating in a massive market sell-off on February 3, 2026, the day of the Uranus station.
While the seeds were sown earlier, the breaking point was the release of 11 specialized "Claude Cowork" plugins that directly targeted high-margin software sectors. These aren't just minor updates; they are "role-specific" agents for Legal, Sales, Finance, and Data Analysis. This is pretty much a death knell for a huge swath of tech and information companies. Markets reacted negatively because it’s not just about individuals anymore. It’s now apparent it’s going to cannibalize major software businesses. And it puts market power into the hands of just a handful of AI companies.
You’ll notice that the founding chart has Mercury in the gate of revolution at 21° Aquarius. In my last video with Dabney Lawless, I spoke about this pattern I noticed with Venus and Mars in the gate of revolution. On the Uranus Station, Uranus’ ruler Venus was at 22° Aquarius and during the upcoming Saturn-Neptune conjunction, Saturn and Neptune’s ruler, Mars is at this degree right on the Midheaven.
When Uranus stationed direct, three emotional channels were connected for the entire collective: the channel of community, the channel of recognition, and the channel of synthesis. In its founding chart, Anthropic has the Sun in gate 41, the gate of contraction, where Pluto is currently transiting. When Uranus stationed direct, Mercury was transiting gate 30, the gate of clinging fire or the fates, forming the channel of recognition. Along with Mercury in the gate of revolution, Anthropic has Jupiter in the gate of approach forming the channel of synthesis. With this sudden announcement (Uranus), the broader community suddenly recognized the impact the company’s AI synthesis was going to have on the software industry.
Like the humans that run them, markets tend to react emotionally rather than logically. It's kind of hilarious when you think about all of the data that goes into market analysis and broader business decision making. Why do people waste so much time producing and analyzing data when we know emotions rule at the end of the day? Especially these days when the market has been so disconnected from the reality on the ground.
Expect the markets to continue to be volatile in the months ahead. There are also signs of trouble at a couple of the AI companies who’ve been burning through cash. Open AI and xAI, in particular, are showing signs of strain as they look for new ways to fund their massive expenses. AI companies will be forced to consolidate even though there are only a handful, because there’s currently not enough energy to go around. This will further consolidate market power.
Washington Post
On cue, the morning after Uranus stationed direct, this new reality was signaled by the Washington Post, as it laid off roughly 300 newspaper employees. Leadership explicitly blamed the rise of generative AI for a massive drop in organic search traffic, which had previously been the paper's primary growth engine.
Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, has been facing multiple competitive and legislative challenges to his businesses and you can see that this decision was partly a defensive move. His Saturn is at 21° of Aquarius in the gate of revolution, while his Venus is at 24° Aquarius in the gate of clinging fire or the fates. And the Washington Post was founded when the North Node was in this same gate and degree, at 24° Aquarius. As this Venus-Saturn conjunction suggests, Bezos has brought fiscal discipline to the paper. He’s a pragmatic businessman and as Yuval Noah Harari points out, AI will take over anything that is based on words, especially the media.
Bitcoin
Then there’s been the recent sell-off of Bitcoin, which also happened the day after the Uranus station. The cryptocurrency was founded when Neptune was at 22° Aquarius and with Venus conjunct, it marked a dissolution of value. Even though it’s now started to stabilize, it doesn’t look like this wipeout is finished. Mars triggered the North North the day of the wipeout, which is in gate 19, forming the channel of synthesis in its founding chart.
Mars will move to Neptune as Saturn-Neptune also conjuncts its Moon, Saturn applying more directly in later March. Uranus will also square Venus as soon as it enters Gemini in late April. All signs of trouble for the cryptocurrency.
This wipeout caught a lot of crypto holders by surprise, because so many financial advisers have been suggested investing in crypto would be a hedge against a drop in the market and the dollar. But if anyone has been following crypto for a while, they'll know that it is full of dark money. The entire stock market has become a casino these days, and we know the house always wins and the suckers always lose.
The February Eclipse falls in the 30th gate in the 5th line (universalizing the hand of fate), connecting Pluto in gate 41, line 3 (contraction of money) to form the channel of recognition. Bitcoin has its natal Mercury at 2° Aquarius, in gate 41, where Pluto has been transiting. It's an emotional channel, and it’s about the fuel to drive our fantasy vs. the gods of fate. The planets here are fixed to the detriment of their expression. So a lot of people’s fantasies are likely going to crash during the period this Eclipse remains in effect. Many people will get a rude wakeup call and it’s very emotional. I think this clip shared by Chris Norlund is satire, but it’s a great example of the emotional charge of this eclipse.
We are at the mercy of the fates right now. There will be winners and there will be losers, but a lot more losers. The Eclipse suggests that we have no control over some of the larger forces at play, especially as it relates to the job market. We must open ourselves up to see opportunities wherever we can to survive this period.
Russel Vought & The Heritage Foundation
Russel Vought was in the news on Feb 5th with the arrest of a person accused of plotting to harm him. This person is supposed to appear in court on Feb 23rd, just three days after the Saturn- Neptune conjunction. Russel Vought’s time of birth is unknown, but the noon chart places his natal Moon at the revolutionary degree, 22° in gate 49.
He has his natal Mercury at 0° Aries, which is where Saturn & Neptune will meet on Feb 20th. It’s a world point, signifying where one can become known in the world. His words, his plans, his ideas have certainly been in the spotlight these last few years. The Saturn-Neptune conjunctions have spiritual themes and can incite moral panics or religious extremism. Mars will conjunct his Moon during the Saturn-Neptune conjunction. We can already see the symbolism playing out with this arrest and it may intensify as we get closer to the conjunction. He now has U.S. Marshal protection (Mars) for his security (Moon). Will there be other events playing out around this conjunction? Possibly. But this is a great example of the multiple ways that a chart’s themes can play out. You can predict the themes, but the exact event can surprise you.
I didn’t make this clear in my last video, and I want to make sure I clarify something about the 22° degree. It’s considered a "critical" or high-stakes degree associated with Capricorn energy, symbolizing intense pressure, mastery, and the need for persistence. While sometimes referred to in specific modern theories as a "kill or be killed" degree (this was a theory popularized by the astrologer Nikola Stojanovic), it more commonly represents transformative, intense life themes that require taking personal responsibility and building long-term, consistent success.
There are millions of people who have this degree in their chart. Naturally, the symbolism can play out in a variety of ways - not just violence and assassination. This theme is related to violence in Russel Vought's case, but it can also symbolize his aggressive focus on implementing the Heritage Foundation’s project plans.
In my own life, I see it play out as a tendency to "cut-off" relationships when they are damaging to me. For example, I was brought up in a pretty warped Evangelical Christian environment. My environment was physically, verbally, and emotionally abusive. I cut off contact with my mom when I was in my mid 20’s and I am estranged from most of my family.
"Saving America by Saving the American Family"
And while we are on the topic of the Heritage Foundation, I want to look at the chart of their most recent project "Saving America by Saving the Family: A Foundation for the Next 250 Years". If you haven’t heard about this legislation, the 2026 blueprint aims to reverse the "individualism" of the 1960s, specifically mentioning that "second-wave feminism" led to social decline. It continues to attack abortion rights, intent on criminalizing the delivery of abortion materials (i.e. abortion pills). It provides tax credits for early marriage and for women who are stay at home mothers. It attacks “over-credentialization”, claiming it incentivizes people to delay marriage. It aims to stigmatize divorce with a goal to end “no fault divorce”.
Remember I mentioned that the Heritage Foundation’s Sun is at 27° of Aquarius and here it’s placed on the Midheaven of this chart with Uranus in square. A friend of mine asked whether that meant Heritage Foundation’s influence will be eclipsed out? Maybe… the Cross of the Sleeping Phoenix we are heading into is about more individuation, not less.
My initial analysis of Project 2025 was that they were going to manifest this project, but it wouldn’t last because it was too extreme. America’s spirit is intensely individualistic. We are a diverse people and we don’t like the government wading too much into our personal lives. Once Uranus ingresses into Gemini, the energy for diversification will become even stronger.
But you can clearly see the themes of the plan in this chart with Mars-Venus conjunct the Sun (the family) opposing Jupiter (religious ideals). Mars is exalted in Capricorn but combust the Sun and Venus is starting to separate but is demoted, in the sign of its detriment. The Moon (the mother, fertility) is separating from an opposition to Saturn and applying to an opposition to Neptune, both transiting the last degrees of Pisces.
The planets and angles in the last degrees seems to indicate that this is an energy or plan at the end of its cycle. There is a “do or die” energy at critical degrees, holding on for dear life. The plan was published on the Human Design Cross of Penetration so they are breaking ground, planting a seed for future fertilization. Peter Thiel was born on this cross, but on the Libra side. We see the seed he planted in Donald Trump broke the ground for this current tech power grab.
I’m not against some of these initiatives like tax credits for families, but I think its focus is too narrow in defining who and what make up a healthy family. It also creeps into an area where women no longer have financial independence or control over their own decisions. When you study history, you'll understand the reason women fought for independence. It wasn’t about freedom for the sake of freedom. Women were often held captive by abusive men. Women who could not get married or who became widowed had to rely on the kindness of their relatives and some were not kind. Some women were forced into prostitution to survive. While that has not changed, there are many more options for women’s survival today.
Just take a look at other fundamental countries and you’ll get a glimpse of how women were treated in the past. Is this what we want? Women are still largely motivated to create a lasting union with a partner. They just want to be treated as equal in the partnership. It may make men’s lives easier to have complete control over women again, but at what cost? Do we really imagine we can regress this far back permanently? We have to reimagine the contract. Saturn and Neptune at the zero point of Aries demand it.
The Eclipse’s North Node line is about leading by example. So many of these people who tout traditional values are not living the lives that they so hypocritically promote. Their motivation seems to be driven by fear and the lust for power and control more than anything else.
This eclipse most definitely expands out to our conflicts with the rest of the world. I’ve talked about these conflicts before. The Saturn/Neptune conjunction will lead to breakthroughs and/or collapses, and if we continue to be so aggressive with other countries it may just lead to broader capital wars as Ray Dalio suggests. So hang onto your hats. It’s going to be another wild ride.

Aquarius Solar Eclipse: The Job Apocalypse
